Summer weather seems to have arrived with a bang. We are enjoying bird songs through open windows, bare feet in the grass, suntans acquired on Track & Field Day (except A who got an itchy rash from it), the swing on the deck -sparkling clean since being pressure-washed on Saturday...
We have a landscaper coming Thursday afternoon. We're eager to see what kind of design he comes up with.
We started refinishing our dining room table. It was my grandparents' table before we acquired it at the estate sale. They had it refinished many years ago after it went through a house fire, but we think it's time for an upgrade from that 70's yellowish shellacked look to a stain.
