I didn't post last week because there isn't much to report. Although we are repeatedly assured that our move-in date is still Dec. 1, it feels like "nothing" is happening. They did not work here every day last week. Our expectations that since this is a big job, we will be exclusive on his calendar is not the reality. I guess they say "Don't put all your eggs in one basket", so he didn't.
All the walls needing removed are gone, all the doors & windows are in... on the exterior, the soffit is done. The bedroom windows on the west side have been replaced so that the siding can be done there. Insulating & drywall is supposed to start the week of the 13th, so the plumbing & electrical must be roughed in this week or next.
Our water heater gave out yesterday (it was a 1984 model), so we are completely without water today. Hopefully someone has a natural gas heater in stock.
