Now that our house is basically finished, I want to start a new blog with a more appropriate title. General posts under a moniker like 'The Latest Dirt' sounds like a gossip column. I have been wracking my brain for a title that reflects our faith, personalities, writing style, location or something. I have lots of ideas but nothing strikes me as being right. Maybe I need to hold a contest. Please post your suggestions.
The latest dirt [literally] is a pile of topsoil in our backyard. Beautiful dirt! :) It dried off enough for a dump truck to drive around to the back. 2 of the children & I worked at spreading it last evening until the rain began. Sooner or later we'll have grass seeded in...

What about Quiet Lane? I hear you on the Latest Dirt sounding as if was a gossip column...I thought it was a witty pun while you were remodeling though and maybe under your title you could just add a subtitle explaining the origin?
