Miracles

I feel incredibly weary and rather emotional, but this brave little tulip that survived the violent uprooting, unintentional transplanting and trampling is an inspiration to me. It and the lone daffodil are miracles planned by God last summer for my winter-weary soul today.

Carpet was installed in the childrens rooms Friday evening and we worked hard to houseclean those rooms and move in Saturday. This was no small feat- requiring miraculous cooperation from all. To encourage ourselves, we sang the chorus "Little by little, inch by inch, by the yard it's hard, by the inch -what a cinch! Never stare up the stairs, just step up the steps, little by little, inch by inch."

As you can see, these rooms need a lot of detail work yet; we only have the basic necessities in place, but it's a start. I'm still working on the bedspread for Jeremy's bed. We are pleased with how the boys room turned out.
A's room makes me feel nostalgic as my room was a similar shade at that age.

All that A's room needs yet is a canopy for the bed.

Then she would be a minature... Cheryl. ;-)

The canopy is coming -as soon as we can get to where it's buried in the storage room.

Blessings, hope you sleep well tonight, hoping the same for me - I feel a bit under the weather too.
