I had a chance to reevaluate our circumstances over the weekend. Thanks to someone talking about the drywall being completed in one week in their large house- implying that ours is taking too long, I felt defensive and asked myself "Why does everyone think speed is top priority?" That led me to remember our goal at the beginning of this project. We realized we can either have speed or a lower cost, but not both. We chose lower cost. Now that I remember that, I am much more satisfied with where we are at in the process.
All of the ceiling is textured. Most of the sanding is completed as well. Hooray!
