Up until now we've not been bothered by the mess & inconvenience, but it is starting to get to us now. It feels like we've been at this for a long time and our move-in date appears to be slipping into the new year. The door closing off the bedrooms had to be removed, so there is no keeping the dirt contained. We are still without any electric in the addition- an inconvenience after dark.
In the last week, each day is another layer of mud on the drywall. No one is working here today, but tomorrow they plan to texture the ceilings. Then we're ready for the infamous sanding of the drywall.

Can you still use the bedrooms or are you sleeping in the basement too now?
If everything goes according to the plan, we won't have to sleep in the basement any time. The carpet is supposed to be installed in the Master Bedroom first, then we'll move all our furniture in there. Our current bedroom will get new carpet while it's empty, then the boys move their stuff over... then their room gets new carpet before Arianna moves over. BUT time will tell whether things actually go that smooth.
